Zoozone 2 cage review

I have made a video reviewing the good points and bad points of the Zoozone 2. Here it is

Here is the list of Pros and Cons:
Pros
·         Simple layout which offers the best space for toys etc
·         The size alone is fantastic. It measures  100 x 51 x 37cm
·         Plastic allows the best view inside
·         Ventilation is good as there is a wire lid
·         Can accommodate up to 4 dwarfs of any kind
·         Makes a great cage for nursing hamsters
·         Easy to clean
·         Easy access through the roof
·         No bar chewing, unless a lever is added then their maybe some bar chewing
·         Can be bought fairly cheap second hand

Cons
·         Expensive
·         Demands space
·         Lid will need meshing as the bar spacing is too big
·         Steps will need to be placed under the water bottle as its positioned too high for hamsters to reach
·         More bedding to be used to cover the floor
·         No shelves or levels

I have changed the list a little so whats on the list may not be on the video. Hope this helps you decide the best cage for your hammie(s) :D

Ivy video

Check this out

First step in the DIY world

After recently purchasing a zoozone 2, I had to do something about the water bottle position as it was too high for the teeny robos...and here's the result!

Pine wood staircase fixed with 2 screws which almost split the wood but thankfully held in place
Here is the new cage with all the fixtures and fittings. All the robos are tucked away in their strawberry house :P

Duke & Riley

These cool dudes were rescues from the RSPCA and will be 2 years old on June 7th. They are very greedy boys and will mug you for their noms lol

Riley

Marmaduke

Summer is nearly here and Riley has just undergone a massive moult which has been a real pain because fur is scattered all around the garden

It was all around his bum region, but most of it has fallen out now. Now Marmy is starting to moult, oh goody xD

Growing up so fast!

We got her at 7 weeks, too young I know, and she's come such a long way. Picked her up from Brixham on 15/02/11 and she was small enough to fit in the palm of your hand! She was quite underweight but had boundless energy, so loving too. Would, and still does, come up to you and lick your face off lol. Here she is at 7 weeks

And now, in the bushes in the garden

More about Ivy:
She was born on xmas eve 2010, hence the name Ivy, and her sister was called Holly...Holly and Ivy! lol
She's very mischeivious and loves getting into places where she shouldn't be

Vets
She is due to go to the vets in a months time to get spayed and have her second injection I think

The robo's!

Got these little guys on the 7/05/11, so have had them for a week now :)
Named them all after members of Green Day. Right, here we go

Billie Joe, the agouti

Tre, white face and is the fattest out of the three :P
And Mike, same as Tre, white faced. He has a little hole in his right ear so thats how I tell them apart

Here is their current living quarters. They did have a pink zoozone 1 to start but have a new zoozone 2 which is pretty epic :D
